Phoned the surgery this afternoon for an urgent appointment for my son who is no longer registered at Loxwood. The receptionist instantly registered him temporarily and he was able to complete an e-consult. Within half an hour the doctor had called him for a consultation and was able to prescribe the necessary medication, which was collected half an hour later. Excellent and friendly service!
I try not to go to the doctors but unfortunately I have needed tests, reviews and to make a new plan. Loxwood have been brilliant. I have always managed ti get an appointment via e consult. I have the NHS app so couid see my blood results and other medical history. Dr Webb has helped me make a plan with longer term medication which I collect from the pharmacy on site.(again helpf and easy) Both my daughters and husband have also had to make appointments recently and again Loxwood had been efficient and effective. Thank you to the whole team at Loxwood surgery. it feels joined up, caring, kind and community focussed.
Nursing staff are always great! I’ve had more attentive and responsive asthma reviews since being registered here. Previously been on the same medication for years which wasn’t really working. They did everything to ensure the next medication I try is the right one for me and made sure to check everything. Reception staff can be friendly, it depends on who you get. I believe it was Summer on reception yesterday and she was great and really helpful.
I submitted an e-consult and did not receive a reply at all. My referral from the physio service to Bognor MSK has not been done. Trying to telephone Loxwood surgery to discuss this and ask someone to follow up and I have been cut off twice after waiting 4 minutes while the phone continually rings. Not good enough.
